7P1 - "Video Project"

Video:

Using iMovie, iPads, Creative Common Images, and music, I created a movie about my favorite things because this is my website and I put a video about my favorite things because this is my website and I wanted it to be about me so people will know some of things I like or like to do.

• During this process, I learned how to download Creative Commons Images, how to make movies on iMovie, and how to download a movie and put it on a site.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I made the movie about me and my likes and dislikes and this video is my own creation and it has my sounds that I liked and I worked on this by myself.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was adding text and it deleting what I said. I was able to do it by redoing what I said multiple times.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of my sound effects and make them more fit the picture. The reason why I would change it is because most of the sound effects didn't make sense.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in digital story teller because we made videos telling people what we like and love with photos and to do this we had to learn how add sounds to a movie that we make and how to add text to describe what the photos are and then we recorded our voice to put in the video to talk about the photos in our movie and then we added it to the internet to share with the world about or likes or  dislikes.
