Circuit Playground Express

Using the Circuit Playground express, I created a ghost detector because its be a fun game to play.

During this process, I learned how to code lights and sounds come on when clicking certain buttons .

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because my project communicates to you through lights and sounds when there is a ghost or not a ghost (red means not a ghost and rainbow means a ghost).

A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to download the code into my Circuit. I was able to do it by searching up how to download the code into my project.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how to turn on the lights. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like it would've been cooler if I added temperature to changing it.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Computer Programming because I programmed a ghost detector with the circuit playground express using different lights and sounds.
