What unique qualities will your project have?

My project will have zoomed in clips of my toilet and a superhero sound affect.

• Using imovie, I created a commercial for my cardboard toilet because....well someone needs to sell it so someone can buy it.

• During this process, I learned working hard and staying focused is very important to make a commercial and it takes a lot of thinking.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I had to think very hard of how everything for the commercial would be set up and the correct angle for the shot of the toilet.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to get Carleigh to actually focus and pay attention. I was able to do it by telling her to get out i the hall and stop playing around:)

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change nothing about it. The reason why I would change (nothing about it) is because I am happy with the way our video turned out and I think all of the shots are as good as we could get them. They also are kind of funny.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in maybe (acting) or (commercial maker).
