Are you working by yourself or in a team?
By myself
What materials will you need for your project?
Micro bit and computer
What is your plan to create in this project?
My Micro bit will show my name. I will also test multiple codes.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My project will be unique because it is about volleyball.
I made my list of 10 ideas.
I made my name tag.
I made a volleyball code.
I made a special day.
I made a math problem.
I made a flashing heart.
I finished up my work. I did my planning questions.
Using a Micro Bit, computer, and my I-Pad, I created a sigh that says "I heart Volleyball", and many other things because it was the assignment.
During this process, I learned how to make the Micro Bit to show different things and words.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because you have to know how to use a device properly.
A challenge I overcame on this project was how to code the micro bit. I was able to do it by asking for help, practicing, and playing around with it to get it to the right thing.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my coding ideas. The reason why I would change it because it was a little to easy to code and i need something that can challenge me so i have to think harder to figure out the coding process.
