My project will be unique because it isn't a normal sour patch kid it has a different style.

I brain stormed ideas.

I put down 10 ideas and chose the one i liked most.

I started scetching and cutting out the one i picked

We painted and trimmed the sour patch kid.

We added a hat and some toe nails to our project.

We took pictures of our project and posted them.

Using cardboard, I created a sour patch kid because my group thought it would be a good project.
During this process, I learned how to work as a team and brainstorm ideas.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because we had to design our project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to get the sour patch kid cut out. I was able to do it by focusing, taking my time, and asking for help.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the object we would make. The reason why I would change it is because it is a lot harder than other things it takes to much time.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Stocking Box's.
