I'm going to make something that is my own idea.

• Using screwdrivers, I created a car out of a monitor because it was fun.

• During this process, I learned how to make something else out of a monitor.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I designed a new thing.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was thinking of how to build my car. I was able to do it by by looking at a picture for inspiration.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how much time I spent on this project. The reason why I would change it is because I could've done better with more time.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in waste recycling because I repurposed a monitor that wasn't used anymore.
