Day 10: Finished a square and started next one.

Day 11: Finished a square.

Day 12: I started a new square.

Day 13: I finished a square and started new one.

Day 14: I started picking out new fabrics for my squares sense the machine broke.

Day 15: Started sewing new square and finished one.

Day 16-18: Started and finished squares.

The sewing machine, fabric, and thread.

What is your plan to create in this project?

A quilt

What unique qualities will your project have?

It will be different patterns

Using a sewing machine and material I created part of a quilt because I wanted something to make a blanket type thing.
During this process, I learned how to use a sewing machine.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I decided what I want to make.
A challenge I overcame on this project was sewing straight and not all over the place. I was able to do it by taking my time and not rushing.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the patterns. The reason why I would change it is because I could have done a different patterns that I did.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Presser. Laundry attendant. Weaver. Alterations specialist. Upholsterer. Alterations manager. Cutter. Tailor.
