Day 1. We did our list of 10 good ideas and we did our planning questions and we connected our i-pad to our robot. Our robot was named Dash so we made the name of the robot, "THE ROCK".
Day 2.Our robots name got changed from The Rock and then we had to code the robot to throw the tire then the robot threw the tire past the blue line.
Day 3.We coded Bolt to count down from 3 and then do a bunch of lights and move.
Day 4. We coded the sphero mini to move in shapes we had it go in a square a circle and a rectangle.
Day 5. We started the code for the iRobot all we got to code was the I due to time.
Day 6. We finished coding the iRobot to write the word ill on the whiteboard.
Day 7.We decided to make an extra code for Dash so we started that today.
Day 8.We finished the extra code with Dash , and we made him dance and do a light show at the end.
Day 9.Today we uploaded our websites and we put all of the photos and videos of the robots and there codes.
Day 10. We started our reflection paragraph .
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working with Morgan.
What materials will you need for your project?
We will need a robot and an I-pad.
What is your plan to create in this project?
We will code the robot.
What unique qualities will your project have?
Are robot will do very unique things
1.Dance
2.Water plants
3.Attack
4.Bring this to you
5.Talk
6.Make pancakes
7.Do magic tricks
8.Tell time
9.Rock paper scissors
10.Race you or other robots
Here is the code for Dash to throw the tire.
This is dash throwing the tire.
This is the code for Bolt to count down a do a light show.
This is the video of bolt.
Here is the code that we made for the sphero mini to make shapes.
The video for the sphero mini.
This is the code for the iRobot to make the 3 letter word.
This is the video of the three letter word.
This is a code we made for fun we did this code on Dash.
This is the extra video of bolt.
Using my i-pad, robots, and coding apps, I created a code and video for robots such as Dash, iRobot, sphero mini, and Bolt. Because I wanted to be creative and have a unique robot.
During this process, I learned how to code different types of robots and how to solve the problems in the process.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I planed out what we could do to start programing the robots.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to code different robots because all of the coding tools were different for each robot . I was able to do it by trying to see how we could use the codes to work on the robot and seeing what way the robot needs to go and how I could make the code and the robot work.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how hard it was I would want to make it more of a challenge it was because when I got the hang of it it was very easy . The reason why I would change it is because once we figured out how to code each robot it was easy and it didn't take long to learn how to code them so that's why I would want to make it more of a challenge .
