I am working by myself .

What materials will you need for your project?

I will need cardboard ,tape ,I-pad and computer.

What is your plan to create in this project?

My plan is to do a fridge so a box and more cardboard to make shelves and a handle.

What unique qualities will your project have?

I will have a drawer and it will look like a steal fridge.

Day 1. I put my idea of what I want to make on paper

Day 2. I then got all my pieces and cut them out to the shape I needed.

Day 2. When I got my pieces cut I started to put the base together.

Day 3. After I put all of the base together I then put in the shelves

Day 4. I then made a drawer to put in the bottom of the fridge.

Day 5. I put duck tape on it to make it look like a fridge more.

Day 6. I made the handle and then I was done.

This is the box that I was going to use for the base.

Here I put the door on the box I put it on with duck tape so it can open

and close.

Here it shows the duck tape holding the door on and I also put duck tape

on the side of the fridge.

Reflection:

Using cardboard, I created a fridge because it was an easy project and there was no difficult pieces to cut out or put together.

During this process, I learned that it is not very easy to make this out of cardboard or just cutting them out in the right shape. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to a innovative designer because I created something different out of something that was supposed to be basic. A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the right size for the door and shelves . I was able to do it by taking a pencell and out lining the size and shape of what I needed to cut out .Given a chance to do this again, I would change the drawer. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't have much to to make it so it was not the best work I could have done so I would make it a bit nicer looking. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Engineering Design.
