7P1 Micro Bit

Day 2: I typed my name in now I just have to upload it to my

micro: Bit . Day 3: I put my name in the micro:bit so now it can play.

• Using a micro: Bit ,I created changeable smiley faces, hearts, and my name because I thought it would be easy but cool .

• During this process, I learned how to use a micro: Bit and how to put stuff on it.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I learned some skills on the micro: bit and I learned how to code on the computer .

• A challenge I overcame on this project was being able to connect the code to the micro: Bit and just making the code was a bit of a challenge that I had. I was able to do it by looking at the instructions and I asked how to do it .

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change I would probably make it more of a challenge. The reason why I would change it is because I did a easy project and I want to make it more of a challenge.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Back-End Developer .
