Using Star Wars Bloxels, I created a world because Mr. Renner made us so we could learn more about it. Also to see if we would want to mabey get into coding and stuff like that for jobs so we could have a potential job for me when I'm older so I could code or mabey make maps for Bloxels.
During this process, I learned that you could change what the different blocks did or represented for our world. I learned this by asking my friends and looking up YouTube and finding out that you had to click on what you wanted it to be then you tap on the block on the I pad
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen and computational thinker because first digital citizen because I did not give any personal information. Also computational thinker because I had to think of what I wanted my story to be.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to make the chest turn into a key so then I could make a door that you would have to have the key to get through the door. I was able to do it by Logan's help and just sort of messing around. I had to learn how to do this because otherwise there kept on being a heart but I needed a key.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of scenes I would have. The reason why I would change it is because it was really short to play it . Also I would like to add more enemy's and characters so then you could talk to people and they tell you what to do so it's easier for whoever was playing to get through it.
This project connect to careers in maybe making a game like this so I could make money. I could also teach other people how to do this by making an app like this. I would know slightly how to make an app because I know how to do some coding and once I would've been old enough I would learn more if I knew that was what I was going to do.
