• Using tinkercad, I created a chess board, pieces, and a container because I was looking up ideas for things to do and I saw a board that holes for the pieces and i loved that idea.

• During this process, I learned how to make multiple chess pieces in tinkercad.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I saw the picture ounce and I had to innovate to get it to work .

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting it so the pieces would fit into the holes. I was able to do it by makig the holes slightly bigger.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change it so the king and queens peg into the board was bigger . The reason why I would change it is because the queen sometimes fits the king never fits.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to the career of a board game maker.
