Are you working by yourself or in a team?
team
What materials will you need for your project?
popsicle sticks and hot glue
What is your plan to create in this project?
a popsicle boat
What unique qualities will your project have?
it will be made only out of popsicle sticks and duct tape
Using popsicle sticks, I created a boat because my friend wanted to compete and we settled on a boat.
During this process, I learned that to make a boat float you need lots of floatation power.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge Constructor because I have to gather knowledge on how to get the boat to float.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to not make it tip over. I was able to do it by adding side floatation devises .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change it so the backboard was not there. The reason why I would change it is because we got limited sticks and it did nothing .
