• Using cospaces, I created a 3D world with animals and cars. I did this because I really like animals and cars. I also made a boy who runs across the world. I did this because I like sports.
• During this process, I learned how to use cospaces. I also learned how to code things in a VR world. By doing this project, I also learned how to put a Ipod into VR glasses, and move around in my own world
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because, I used my knowledge to construct a 3D world. It also ties to Innovative Designer because, I designed and coded my world.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was how to make a man wave in my world. I was able to do it by asking a friend for help. Another challenge I overcame on this project was how to make a car move. I overcame this by watching a YouTube video.
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of coding I did to a greater amount. The reason why I would change it is because my world would look a lot cooler if there were more things moving around. I would also make my house bigger if I got a chance to change it.
• This project connect to careers in computer programming because I learned how to code and create my own 3D world. Also, it connects to the computer programming section of the CTE program at Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program. What I learned from this project can help me get a really good job because I know how accurately code and use 3D and VR equipment.
