Using sphero, I created a robot that goes out of control because I wanted to simulate what it would be like to see a mini robot freak out.
During this process, I learned you can control the pattern the sphero follows and as well as what confrontations it can have.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to programming because you are programming a robot to do basic things and choose what it does if it for example when it hits something.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to lower down the time it takes to finish changing color. I was able to do it by giving it less commands for color and lowering the time it takes to change through all the colors.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the time i spent messing with controlling the sphero. The reason why I would change it is because it wasted lots of time doing this .
