• Using drone blocks, I created coding for the drone because i was interested in the way its able to do a flip.
• During this process, I learned the drone cannot do a lot of flips without stalling .
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because Im using computer programming and being innovative with the coding.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the drone to flip and still be able to gain height . I was able to do it by adding height after every flip.
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change The time I spent trying to connect to the drone. The reason why I would change it is because It absorbed so much of my time.
• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to computer programming at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in engineering design I could get a job in inspections of bridges with drones.
