this is when i was figuring out some sizes and seeing what did what.I changed the inches to millimeters and started matching them up with the size of an Oreo. just a bit bigger than one though
this is one of the final pictures of my project where i was able to center a whole in the shape and added a square on the bottom because i messed up. Plus it looked nice.
I decided to give up on the oreo holder and i made a saxon pencil holder.
A challenge I faced was making the base square even.
What I made is a pencil holder for pens, erasers, pencils etc
I learned a lot along the way but one important thing was how to use tinker cad. I've never used something like it before so this was a new experience for me but after a while of tinkering I started to get the hang of it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator.
Something I would do differently would be not to waste so much time on the colors because I spent quite a bit of time just playing with colors instead of watching videos for help on how to make a perfect circle on tinker cad.
This could be a career in designing new ideas for pencil holders and engineering design at Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program.
