this is the code we used
this is the sphero bolt
This is the video of it in action
For my fourth project I did the sphero bolt. The sphero bolt is a toy that comes with an app to control it either manually or you can code it to do things like in the sheet above.
What we created out of the bolt was for it to go around a couch once. But there was a challenge, the challenge that I had was that when the bolt went to go around the corner it wouldn't stop completely so I had to figure out how to make it stop the closest to the corner.
The standards that I tied to was probably a computational thinker because I had to have a code that would closely get me to the corner and that I can formulate a problem suited for technology suited methods such as data analysis, abstract models, and algorithms.
Something that I would do differently next time would be to make the code go on a loop so the ball would just go around in circles about 3 or 4 times.
A career that I could have that is involved with coding a ball could be maybe a veterinarian because if maybe a dog isn't feeling good and he usually plays I could code a bolt and see if the dog runs and goes for it.
