- Using tinker cad, I created a Hastings Saxons key chain because I think the kids at the high school would want to represent their school wherever they go.
- The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because when I am doing a project I am always trying to think what can I do with the project.
- A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to fit the letters onto the big H because I could find the big letter but I could not fit in the word inside of it. I was able to do it by instead of selecting text for the big H, I went to where it shows all of the words and then put in the H.
- Given a chance to do this again, I would change the key chain. The reason why I would change it is because the original design of the key chain had no hole so if I did do it again I would add the hole.
- This project connect to careers in designing construction parts because with a 3D printer you can print almost anything, but I think it would be most useful to make construction tools wit the printer.
