Stem project

• Using hot wheels and a hot wheel set I create a race track because we wanted to make a game out of the hot wheels set.
• During this process, I learned that you need a lot of tape to keep up the hot wheels tracks.
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to My project ties to computational thinker because it says Students develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods to develop and test solutions. And i developed strategies on my project to help me figure out the stem project.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was that our hot wheels set kept on falling apart. I was able to keep this from not happening by using a lot of tape to keep it together.
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way we set up the tracks. The reason why I would change it is because i would instead of putting two tracks beside each other i would just put the two tacks together to make one big track.
• This project connect to careers in maybe any kind of car sports like NASCAR because we we creating tracks and racing cars on them.Or maybe even careers in creating in creating tracks for NASCAR.
