This is my bloxel code. The green is land and the purple stands for the enemy's and the yellow stands for the coins.
This is the game i created. My character is wookie and the point of the game is to kill the enemy's collect the coins and escape the area.
- Using Bloxels I created pictures with blocks to create ground and other stuff in the video game.Because every color clock equals something different. Like green is ground purple is a enemy and yellow is coins.
- During this process, I learned that if you add to many enemy your character will die really fast.Because i did and i didn't have enough time to kill all of them before they killed me. And i also learned that you need lots of space for your character to move so everything isn't crammed together.
- The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to My project ties to Computational Thinker because it says Students develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods. And i used strategies and methods to help me figure out how to help me create the game.
- A challenge I overcame on this project was putting the right amount of enemy's so you could kill them all before they could kill you and not gang up on you. I was able to do it by changing how many enemy's i had.First i had 12 then i changed it to 9 but they were still ganging up on me so then i changed it to 7 enemy's.
- Given a chance to do this again, I would change the point of my game.The reason why I would change it is because if i did this project again i would make the game about getting all the coins instead of killing all the people.And to find a key to open a locked door.
- This project connect to careers in gaming.My reasoning for this is there are careers in making video games a playing them.So this project connects to gaming and playing games.
