7p6 Boat

This is the boat i made it held 180 pennies .

this is the video of our boat sinking. the boat also held 94 pennies.

• Using tinker cad I created a plastic boat because we had to create a boat to see who can hold the most pennies in are boat.
• During this process, I learned how to size my boat for the right size i dont go out of the size limits
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because it says Students develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods. And i used strategies and methods to help me figure out the boat project.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was how to make the boat the right size. I was able to do it by messing around with the buttons on tinker cad and figured out how to do it.
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way The boat was made because in our boat there was wedges in the boat and made less space for the pennies.
• This project connect to careers in designing things in tinker cad and this can be a future career like designing boats or houses.
