sphero mini

This is the mini sphero going around the rectangle i made

• Using sphero mini and sphero bolt I created codes to drive throw around areas like point A to point B.I also coded the sphero to go around my drawling of a rectangle.And to go through the cardboard maze.
• During this process I learned that the angles to coding are very important.Because of you don't have the right angles your shpero will not go the right way you want it to.And my sphero would go the opposite way i wanted it to. so i had to mess around with the angles to get my sphero to go to the right direction.
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties My project ties to Computational Thinker because it says Students develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods. And i used strategies and methods to help me figure out how to code the sphero.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the right angles to code the mini sphero. To go a certain way was able to do it by messing around with the angles and figuring out how to get my sphero to go up and down.Another challenge i over came was getting the right speed for the right angles and right area.Also another challenge i overcame was getting the right timing for when to stop the sphero.
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way i did my angles controlling the sphero. The reason why I would change it is because it would make the location it was going more accurate.And i would also change the way i did the speed on the sphero mini and the sphero bolt.Because the speed was messing with the code because if you went to fast the sphero would go through the maze.And if you went to slow the sphero would go almost no where.
• This project connect to careers in coding. my reasoning is because i made a codes for the sphero to go from point A to point B.Also to go around in the rectangle i made and to code it to keep going around my shape.
