A computer and tinkercad
What is your plan to create in this project?
A key holder for your keys
What unique qualities will your project have?
The project is to help people put there keys on the key holder to remember where their keys are at
Did my list of ten and my planning questions
went on to tinkercad and thought of what I should 3d print

Using Tinkercad, I created a PSA graded slab holder for Key holder because some people dont have a key holder. This project was useful to me because when im older I could put my keys on it and it help me remember where I put them in a clean and organized way. During this process, I also learned how to create a 3D print using Tinkercad.
This project connects to the Empowered Learner standard because I faced challenges and made mistakes along the way. Instead of giving up, I continued working through the problems and learning from them. This helped me improve my skills and become more confident in using Tinkercad.
One challenge I faced was making the holding part for the keys level to each other. I struggled to make it the right size and angle so that it looked good and functioned properly. I overcame this by staying calm and carefully thinking through possible solutions.
To solve the problem, I adjusted my design multiple times until it fit correctly. I paid attention to how the angles and measurements affected the overall look. Eventually, I was able to create a top piece that worked well with the rest of the holder to make sure it dont fall.
If I were to do this project again, I would change how I made the key holder and make it bigger. Instead of measuring it myself, I could have duplicated the first shape I used. This would have saved me time and allowed me to focus more on improving the design.
This project connects to the Hastings High School Career and Technical Education program, specifically Engineering Design. I used creativity and problem-solving skills to develop a functional and visually appealing product. I also had to meet specific size requirements to ensure the key holder worked properly.
My project also connects to careers such as 3D designers, CAD modelers, biomedical engineers, and manufacturing technicians. These careers involve designing and creating objects using technology similar to what I used in this project. Through this experience, I gained a better understanding of how 3D printing relates to real-world jobs.
