Daily Log

• Using iMovie, I created a movie about what I do because it's about the things i do over the summer and the sports I do.

• During this process, I learned how to use iMovie and take photos and a voice over to add to the movie.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I picked iMovie to learn the different things I can add and change including sounds, length per photo, and amounts of photos.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to use iMovie and how to make a video and add voice overs. I was able to do it by trying over again until I figured out how to do it the correct way.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I did to add the voice over. The reason why I would change it is because it took most of my time trying to do the voice over and add a sound in the back.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the CTE program at Hastings High School because it ties to digital multimedia. It ties to digital multimedia because it has multiple things like sounds photos and words involved in the video.

• My project connects to careers in Directors, Producers, Animators, and Content Creators  because all the jobs listed includes making videos involving shorts, video, and movies.
