Putting it together Our first level: Thursday Our second level: Friday
On Wednesday I was writing my list of 25 and pre-project paper.
Using, Bloxels cubes, board, and I-Pad, I created a bunch of Bloxels levels with luke skywalker, chewbakka, ewok village, keys, death star and mos eisley in them.
During the process, I learned that deciphering what each block color is may be useful. Red is hazard. Orange is destruction. Yellow are coins. Green is terrain. Blue is liquid. Purple are bad guys. Pink are power-ups. Finally whites are story blocks.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I'm making a game using several materials such as, Bloxels board, Bloxels blocks, and an I-Pad.
A challenge I overcame on this project was thinking of a way to make our level stand out.
Given the chance to do this again, I would change the difficulty I feel like they are simple and easy.
