4 Planning Questions
I am working with Deagan and Odin.
We will need cardboard and our brains.
In our project, we are hoping to make Cup Pong.
Hopefully no one else will make Cup Pong and it will have our own little twist on it.
First, we started with a drawing of what we hoped to make.
Next, we started making the platform to set the cups on.
After that, we finally started making the cups.
Then, we added walls about an inch or two big.
Finally, we added the cups to the base and made the balls.
Using cardboard and hot glue, we created Cup Pong because it is unique and fun to play. We thought of making a rolling ball thing but someone already started making it. We also did cup pong because cup pong is fun to play and also kind of easy to make.
During this process, I learned that working with cardboard is very challenging. Using cardboard is challenging because cutting it straight is very hard to do. It is easier to cut with the scissors but it is taking a long time to get the dimensions right.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because we are making something that no-one else in the class is making. This is unique because we are making it a special way so it is unique to our team.
A challenge I overcame on this project was working with my team. I was able to do it by making a plan and sticking to it. The plan to working with my team was Odin and I work on the cardboard and Deagan would work on the typing. The reason why I would work on the project is because I am a slow typer.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way that we did it. The reason why I would change it is because it took us way too long to finish this. It took a long time to do this because we all messed around and it took us a long time to find out what we are going to use for the cups and the ball.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in creating arcade games. It connects to creating arcade games because we are creating an arcade game.
Here is a video showing how fun our "Cardboard Creation" can be.
