Using a micro bit and a USB drive, I created my name, I made a flashing heart, a 3,2,1 GO thing, and a person jumping on a trampoline, I made a clock, a slide show thing, and a truck crashing, and I made a rock paper scissor shoot because that is what I wanted to create cause I wanted a challenge. During this process, I learned how to use a micro bit and how to make stuff for it and transfer the picture or words to it. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer, Empowered Learner because I created my own things without taking someone else's project. A challenge I overcame on this project was the sound one the 3,2,1 go project that one was confusing but I did not give up and quit. I was able to do it by retrying and watching videos. Given a chance to do this again, I would change the things I did, I know I could have done harder/ trickier things. The reason why I would change it is that the projects I did were easy. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offer Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Innovative designs CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Web developer because they code stuff in that career.
