Day 3: I built the holes/ point scoring and made the structure stronger.
Day 4: I made more balls and made legs for it, to make it higher.
Day 1: I built the bottom part.
Day 2: I added the ramp and the part where the holes/ points are.
Day 3: I made it stronger and added points.
Day 4: I made the balls for it and started making the video but I did not have enough time.
This is my video I created. I created this on day 5.
Using cardboard, glue guns, glue sticks, screws, and duct tape, I created a ski ball game because I've always wanted to play a ski ball game cause it looks like fun and because it was something tricky to build, and I always like a challenge.
During this process, I learned that cardboard screws are actually really strong and hold things together with good and that I'm good with cardboard.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I got my plan then drew it, then built it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was doing it all myself because it was hard to hold it up when I was putting screws in. I was able to do it by holding it up with my knees and the wall.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size I think I built it a little too big, and the cardboard, some of the cardboard was not very strong. The reason why I would change it is that it is a little wobbly so I'm scared when someone plays it, it might fall apart but I feel confident about it.
