Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a micro bit and a micro bit website.
What is your plan to create in this project?
to use a micro bit and code it to do different things with different coding techniques
What unique qualities will your project have?
different coding skills
I started with simple coding.
I made a name badge.
I made a game, rock, paper, and scissors.
I made a name badge with the longest word in the dictionary
Using Micro: bit Educational Foundation, I created a variety of different light codes, name badge, rock, paper, scissors, because they are all codes I can expand on in the future. During this process, I learned different chain codes provide different results.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovator Designer because the lights changed to the preferences of my coding.
A challenge I overcame on this project was coding process chain. I was able to do it by trial and error.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the level of difficulty. The reason why I would change it is because once I knew what I had to do it became easy.
