Planning Questions

Are you working by yourself or in a team?

I am working by myself for this project.

What materials will you need for your project?

I will need an iPad, and a computer.

What is your plan to create in this project?

I plan to create a website, with a video all about me.

What unique qualities will your project have?

I will make my project as easy to understand as possible.

Using the iPad, iMovie, and the computers, I created my website, and my 8P1 video. I created this because I wanted people who see my projects to also know a little bit about me.

During this process, I learned how to use iMovie. I learned how to use iMovie through daily tutorials with Mr. Renner.  I also learned how to use google sites. I am glad I learned this because it is a skill I will have for life. I can use this skill when making presentations, or just for fun.

The 7 standards of this class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizenship . This connects to Digital Citizenship because I made sure to use non-copyright images, sounds, and music. This is important because using copyright-free images

A challenge I overcame was not knowing how to add images to iMovie. I was able to do this through clicking around, asking questions, and following Mr. Renner's tutorials. This is important because not being able to solve problems can have you lose out on a lot of opportunities.

If I had a chance to do this again, I would change how long my video was. I would change this because my video is rather short, only about a minute. I would like it to be longer, so viewers can learn more about me.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. This connects to Digital Multimedia because I created a video all about me.

My project connects to careers in  Film Editing. This connects to Film Editing because I created a video, and edited it, adding sounds, music, and text.
