I, yet again, continued assembling.
I finished assembly.
Using screwdrivers hot glue and a monitor, I created a sailboat because I wanted to show that you can use old things to create new things.
During this process, I learned how to disassemble a monitor.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because it demonstrates how you can repurpose things.
A challenge I overcame on this project was struggling to disassemble properly. I was able to do it by asking my table partners for help.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made. The reason why I would change it is because a sailboat seems rather easy to recreate.

My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Civil Engineers because I created something new out of something old.
