Using sphero bolt I created a code that makes the bolt go along the cardboard track the reason i did this is because its challenging and hard to keep it on the cardboard .
During this process, I learned how to code the sphero bolt to forward,left,right and i had to code the timing of each spot for it to turn
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to and empowered learner because coding the bolt was not easy especially with the uneven cardboard surface.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not giving up because there were plenty of times that i wanted to switch to a different project like dash. I was able to do it by figuring out how to make it go at a good enough speed so it can stop to turn and then go again with out going out of the lines.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the track i used i might of wanted to make one on the ground with like masking tape. The reason why I would change it is because the cardboard track was uneven and it fell off.
This project connect to careers in a computer programmer.
