7P7- 3D Design

Using A 3d printer and the website Tinkercad I created a fidget cube and a water bottle holder. To make it so I would not get more and I could just fidget with a cube. and the water holder is where it connects to something and you put a beverage in it and drink when you get thirsty.

During this process, I learned how to 3d print a water bottle holder.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator because I'm publishing my designs so the whole world can see.

A challenge I overcame on this project was I came with a 3d print to do. I was able to do it by keep thinking.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my fidget cube and for the ball to make it move. The reason why I would change it is because it doesn't move.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering and design because I built something with a computer, and they solve a problem CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in computer-aiding because I built a desgin on a computer.
