Day 1

I got started on my 10 ideas and planning question

I started my town by building a dog park and adding some buildings

I added other animals and animated them

I added more animals to my dog park

I added more animals to my animal barn

I created a buiding that was for parties

I added people to the party place and animated them

I made a house

Using my ipad, I created a town because i needed to create something and i created a town.
During this process, I learned that i have to be creative and i have to think a lot.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational thinker because I had to think of what I was going to create and how I would lay it out on the virtual reality.
A challenge I overcame on this project was animated the objects. I was able to do it by double clicking on it and figured it out.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the buildings. The reason why I would change it is because only one of the buildings opened.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in technology because you have to be really good in technology to know certain things.
