Day 1

we got logged in

we started to design our cubes

I decided to change my project to a town so i made down town

then I made a neighborhood and the office and food stations

I made a forest with trees and bushes

I created a river and a bridge with a row boat and some stones

then i made a farm with cows, horses, chickens and pigs with a barn

I created the last thing on the cube which was the pumpkin patch

Using augmented reality, I created a town because we were supposed to create something on the block using augmented reality.
During this process, I learned how to animate things that were on the cube .
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I had to think of what to create on the cube.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the houses and other objects to stay on the cube on ground level . I was able to do it by grouping it to the cube .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my neighborhood. The reason why I would change it is because I felt like it was crowded.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in design because you have to design the cube .
