Using cardboard, I created a chair because I wanted to see how much weight cardboard can hold.
During this process, I learned You need a lot of structure to build something with cardboard .
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge constructer because I had to figure out all the things to use to make the chair stronger.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making it hold even the slightest weight. I was able to do it by making a spring by using popsicle sticks.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of cardboard inside the base of the chair. The reason why I would change it is because There was not enough.
