8P-10 Laser Cutter

Daily Log:

1. Making my list of 25 and watching videos on what I should do.

2. Deciding on making a sign and starting the outline and words

3. Finishing the design and making the words bigger and making them into a file.

4. Fixing the size of the board to fit the words

• Using Laser cutter , I created A sign because I wanted a sign for my door.

• During this process, I learned that I needed to make the board bigger.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because it shows who owns the house by making a sign

• A challenge I overcame on this project was fitting the words on the board. I was able to do it by resizing the board to make the words fit.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change The size of the board The reason why I would change it is because It is a little small compared to my door .

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Engineering, Carpeting .
