Planning Questions

Are you working by yourself or in a team? Myself

What materials will you need for your project? Computer and ipad

What is your plan to create in this project? To make a story with six sides on a augmented reality cube (i dont know what the cube is called)

What unique qualities will your project have? My project will have a 6 side story of a worm eating dirt by using the enviroment decorations they have on the website.

My Story Plan: Each side of the cube needs to tell a different part of the story.

Part 1. Worm wiggled through the garden. He was very hungry.

Part 2. Worm found a patch of soft, brown dirt. It looked perfect to eat.

Part 3. Worm took a big bite of dirt. Then he took another bite.

Part 4. As Worm ate, he dug deeper into the ground. He made tiny tunnels behind him.

Part 5. Soon, Worm's belly felt full. He rested in the cool soil.

Part 6. Worm smiled and wiggled away. He was happy, full, and safe in his dirt home.

Reflection:

Using Ipad, delightex, and merge cube, I created a six side story of a worm eating dirt because I wanted to make a story that was stupid so it could be funny.
During this process, I learned how to use a merge cube and build objects on the merge cube.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because I used storytelling, digital tools and designs to make creative ideas to engage with an audience.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make the cube be able to move but keep all the stuff on the cube be able to move with it.. I was able to do it by a classmate helping me and guiding me what to do so i could fix the problem.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change adding more decoratios on each side instead of just a pile of dirt. The reason why I would change it is because it makes all the sides look the same and its hard to tell what side of the story im on.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in engineering because i created detailed plans and made structures and systems using a computer.
