7p3 micro:bit

Reflection:

• Using microbit, computer, ipad, speaker, I created a song because i wanted to use the speaker and see how it sounded and how it looked. I also wanted to blend different sounds together and listen to it.

• During this process, I learned how to make codes and how they make different project programs using a microbit and a speaker. I learned how to make the microbit make games and learned  how to make music with the speaker using the tutorials. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because i used tutorials to help me program the code and guide me to make the code work. Using the instructions i was able to learn how to piece the code together to get a final product.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding out how to connect the microbit to my computer and how to use the website to make codes on my microbit.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change not depending on all the tutorials. The reason why I would change it is because almost alm of the things i made are used with the tutorials and i wish i just used no tutotials to make my projects.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in software developer because software developers build computer games and use internal tooling.
