7P1 - "Video Project"

Reflection:

• Using Imovie, I created a video for my website that explain brief details about me because people who view this site  are going to want to know about the person who made the site and facts about them.

• During this process, I learned what an Imovie is and how to use it, inserting images, saving images to photos and using creative commons images.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen because I used non copyright images and kept my digital presence brief and didn't share anything too personal.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to make images not copyright by using creative commons. I was able to do it by one of my peers giving me a step by step instructions on how to turn the images to creative commons.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the quality of my video. The reason why I would change it is because it was very lazy and I didn't really put full effort into the video.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in assistant editor because they prepare projects, clean up the timing and timelines of the project and handle the editing process.
