Using an Adafruit PC, an iPad, a Circuit Playground Express, Microbit, and Gemini AI, I created 2 games.Those are a lucky wheel and a loudness detector. The game is made for either 1 or 2 people to play with offering fun and interactive experience. By combining hardware and AI, I aimed to make the game both entertaining and technologically innovative.
During this project, I learned how to use a Circuit Playground Express and gained experience with Adafruit programming. This project helped me learn how to use the programming and the express chip. It was a valuable learning experience that helped me understand both the technical and creative aspects of building interactive games.
My project connects to the Knowledge Constructor standard because I am learning how to use a Circuit Express Playground chip for the first time. I’ve never worked with this kind of technology before, so I’m building new knowledge by experoncing how to use this. how it works and what I can create with it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to create the correct program. I was able to figure it out by watching tutorials and experimenting with small changes until it worked. This process helped me understand how coding works and gave me more confidence in troubleshooting.
Given the chance to do this project again, I would change some of the sounds and create something different. I feel like the current version doesn’t look or sound the way I imagined it would. Changing it would help me make something I’m more proud of and that better reflects my ideas.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programing CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to the career of a software developer because they use programming to create and improve software. Just like software developers, I had to write and adjust code to make my project work correctly. This experience gave me a small glimpse into what it's like to build and update programs in the real world
