Using the tinkercad website, I was able to create a Hastings Saxons key chain. At first I switched my design about five different times, but i decided to go with something simple like a key chain. I did not have a reasoning behind my design, I just thought of something off the top of my head that I thought would sell.
During this process I learned how to create a hole, I also learn how to copy, or take a picture of something. I'm not much of tech person, and I was able learn how to create a 3d print.
There are 7 standards of a class and I think my project ties into innovative designer because I created and thought of this idea by myself, I also think digital citizen ties into my project because this whole assignment was created and completed online.
A challenge I overcame was figuring out how to create a hole, I also had to figure out how to get it the right size. I overcame my challenges by asking for help, and trying different ideas to see if it would work.
Given a chance to do this again I wouldn't change anything, but I would want to try a different design.
This project connects to careers in digital inventing, and marketing at the Hastings High School and Technical Education Programs.
This is a picture of my final draft.
