Day 1. Making website while looking at MaKey MaKey stuff.
Day 2. Basically the same thing.
Day 3. Um, I actually got my hands on a MaKey MaKey today, lets just say, I'm pretty sure I'm failing 😭
Day 4. Worked on the MaKey MaKey and my website., that's basically it
Using the MaKey MaKey and other resources, I created verities of projects. The projects include stuff like using a BFDI character to play BFDI on the computer, make a character dance, and some other epic stuff. This is because learning how to make stuff and connect to to the character can help me learn how to control stuff correctly.
During this process, I learned that when you are using the MaKey MaKey you have to plug it into Earth and then hold onto it. The reason you have to hold onto it is so it gets energy. I also learned that it is hard to think of ideas.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I take this website, publish stuff on here, the whole world is able to see it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to connect the MaKey MaKey to stuff and make it do something. I was able to do it by being able to listen and watch others to see what they were doing. By doing this I was able to figure out how to make it work.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of projects I did. The reason why I would change it is because with the amount of time I was given, I feel like I should've been able to make more. Although I did not do a lot, I still think I did good.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Graphic Artist because you can use it to make art and stuff. [I'm not sure.]
