Using my  ipad  and the Imovie app with the greenscreen feature, I created a background picture about our school because I wanted to see how realistic I could make the background look. 

During this process, I learned that good lighting is super important for greenscreen! If the lighting isn't even, the editing app leaves weird green edges around you.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I used video and digital tools to share an idea about how to do greencreen.

A challenge I overcame on this project was finding a high-quality picture of our school and editing it. I was able to do it by by looking at the docs about how to do greencreen.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the screen into something more realistic The reason why I would change it is because i want to how realistic green screen would do in a realistic picture.  Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Filmmaking, Broadcasting, and Video Editing because I had to plan my shots, use a special effect (greenscreen), and and edit the video to make a screen.
