Reflection
Using an iPad and iMovie, I created a video about me and my favorite things. I picked to do this because I personally am not a fan of talking to people and I think it would be nice to share more things about myself. Another reason I wanted to make this about me was because not many people know these things.
During this process, I learned lots of things about iMovie like how to add photos, music, sound effects and more.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I used different tools on iMovie and different websites for photos. Which means I used my data and resources.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not remembering how to add music to my video or adding soundtracks . I was able to do it by asking the people around me which really helped me finish most of my video.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that I need to pay more attention so I know what I'm doing. The reason why I would change it is because I kept having to ask what we were doing because I didn't listen.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Digital Multimedia. The reason this Digital Multimedia is because it has texts, audios, and is a video.
