An empowered learner is someone who is willing to do the work to learn. I can set goals and plans. I can use tools and programs to help with learning. I can put in the work to try and understand what I’m learning. I can use my many resources to help me with understanding.
A digital citizen is someone who is a part of the digital world. Being a digital citizen means that I can create a digital reputation. I can understand that it’s not private. I can understand that I have to use safe online resources. I can follow the rules online and to treat someone as if I was talking with them in real life(with respect).
A knowledge instructor is someone who can build learning experiences for themselves to understand things better. I can use my resources to help create my understanding. I can tell what websites I should use, what ones are safe and give me good information.
An innovative designer is someone who is determined with tasks and doesn’t give up on goals. I can create goals that I know I can accomplish. I can ask questions and figure out how to answer them myself. I can improve my learning and my learning technique. I can use my digital tools and find new ones.
A computational thinker is someone who is able to understand and explain how things work and how they know. I can solve problems with technology tools and my understanding. I can show and understand what problem I solved and how I solved it.
A creative communicator is someone who doesn’t have trouble expressing themself with their ideas and how they talk. I can use digital tools to present ideas, problems and/or solutions. I can give credit and not use it all for myself. I can create projects that will help me and others.
A global collaborator is someone who communicates with others around the world and finds new perspectives on ideas and problems. I can use resources to connect with others. I can reach out and ask questions.
