What is your plan to create in this project?

I plan to pick ideas, code them, and download them to my microbit

What unique qualities will your project have?

It will have a jumping duck and it will be beautiful

Using a Microbit, a computer, and an iPad, I created a jumping duck because I like ducks. During this process, I learned coding can be really easy but also complicated at the same time. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global communicator because I put it on my website for the world to see. A challenge I overcame on this project was finding codes that would work for my microbit. I was able to do it by looking through codes and testing them. Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of time I had to put everything on my website. The reason why I would change it is because I wasn't able to put everything on my website in time. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in computer science because it includes coding.
