Using iMotion, iMovie, Legos, and my iPad, I created a stop motion video of Lego flowers because I like Legos and flowers and I thought it would be a good idea for a stop motion movie. During this process, I learned how to use iMotion, I also learned to be patient and to go with the flow if something happened with our materials. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I shared my project and video with the world. A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what we were going to create with how much time we had. I was able to do it by figuring out what we were going to do and using an extra day to get our video done. Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many days we got to do it. The reason why I would change it is because it was a lot trying to figure out what we wanted to do and to get the materials and still have enough days to get the right timed video. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in animation because they use stop motion to animate.
