Reflection

• Using the makey makey cables/wires I created a game controller for the dinosaur game because it was a fun game to make a "controller" for.

• During this process, I learned how to control the Dinosaur game with the makey makey wires. You connect it to the monitor and it connects to your computer.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I made a "controller" the dinosaur game.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting energy for the wires to work. I was able to do it by just using the wires and discarding all the playdoh or aluminum foil to just use the cables.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change nothing really maybe the game or the process we chose. The reason why I would change it is because it could've been easier and we would've had more time because we had to redo a bunch to get it to work.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Chief Operating Officer.
